Photo & Video Release Policy

Default: no photos or video

No photos, video, or audio of students are captured during Phase 1 or Phase 2 cohorts. This is the default and requires no action from you.

Optional showcase (Phase 3+)

Starting in Phase 3, cohorts may include an optional parent showcase — a short public page where students can share their completed project. Participation is always opt-in and requires a separate, explicit photo release for that specific cohort.

The release will be presented at enrollment for that cohort, not in advance. You do not consent to anything here.

What the release covers (when applicable)

• Display of the student's completed project on a per-cohort showcase page.
• Caption format: first name + last initial only (e.g., “Alex K.”).
• No photo of the student is used without a separate explicit consent.
• No student is listed by full name and photo together.
• No AI-generated portraits of students, ever.

Revoking consent

If you have given photo release consent and wish to revoke it, email privacy@cultiv.ai. All associated media will be removed within 7 days. Any cached or CDN copies will be purged and the removal logged.
