Parent Consent

What you are consenting to

When you register a student for CultivLab, you confirm the following four things as the parent or legal guardian:

1. Privacy Policy. You have read and agree to our Privacy Policy, including how we collect, use, and retain data about you and your student.
2. Terms of Service. You have read and agree to our Terms of Service, including the parent responsibilities and student conduct expectations.
3. AI Usage Disclosure. You have read and agree to our AI Usage Disclosure, including how AI is used in the program and what it is not permitted to do.
4. Guardian confirmation. You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the student named in the registration form, and that you have the authority to enroll them in this program.

At enrollment (after approval)

When Ash approves your application, you will receive a magic-link email. Before cohort access is granted, you will be asked to confirm a second set of consents:

• Parent consent re-affirmation — confirming you still agree to all terms.
• Data retention acknowledgment — confirming you understand how long we keep data.
• Student Code of Conduct — confirming your student has read and will follow the code.
• Photo / video release (opt-in) — separate consent for each cohort, always optional.

Each consent is timestamped and stored securely in our database.

Revoking consent

You may revoke any consent at any time by emailing privacy@cultiv.ai. Revoking consent will end your student's participation in the current cohort. Consent records and any records required by law are retained for the legally required period even after revocation.

Students under 13

CultivLab is designed for grades 8–12 (approximately ages 13–18). If your student is under 13, please contact us at privacy@cultiv.ai before registering so we can discuss appropriate safeguards.
