What we do

CultivLab teaches students to build real projects with AI tools. Each student who completes the cohort walks away with one shipped project and a short written summary they can speak to. That's what we promise — and it's all we promise.

What we do not do

• We do not guarantee admission to any college, university, or program.
• We do not claim that participation improves admissions chances.
• We do not advise on college admissions strategy, essays, or applications.
• We do not represent ourselves as a college counseling service.
• The Ask Cultiv chat assistant is instructed never to discuss college admissions outcomes, and any message on this topic is automatically flagged for human review.

Why we state this explicitly

The AI education market has a history of over-promising to parents of college-bound students. We think that's harmful and dishonest. A portfolio project may or may not matter to a specific admissions officer at a specific school — that depends on hundreds of factors outside our control. We're focused on what we can control: the quality of what your student builds.
